Please take a lesson...
By day I'm an Account Manager that sells Internet marketing solutions...
it amazes me how many people decide to build there own website or have a Buddie do it. I always take the "edu-tainer" route and give people all the information they need and tools necc. to get the job done. How ever this doesn't always ensure success.
Having had many car issues, I brought my vech. to my local mechanic, when my pet was injured I brought him to the vet. And if I need financial advice I see my financial advisor....You can see where I'm going with this...
People...really there are such things as snow sports instructors. These fine, well mannered folks will deff. take quite a bit of the fear, lumps & bumps out of things. Although theres no guarantee you won't take a fall or two while learning my point....it's better than just winging it.
At any rate these people get paid to instruct, there not just winging it and trying to tell you how to ski or ride based on how they learned. I'm not sure that your aware but, in preseason mode there are many hours spent clincing and getting ready for the busy winter teaching season. Not only do they know what to say...but how to safely and effective get you to success !!! (learning to ski or ride)
Considering to get out on the snow to ski or ride for the first time? Please take a lesson.

Getting the "Stoke" back....
I often find that once in a while in my action packed life taking some much needed down time is good. I recently have come off of a week rest/break and feel like a million bucks. Not for nothing but it just gave me that much needed recharge to remember exactly what's importan. LOL...spending quality time with the family no doubt is KEY!!! The other main thing is to reconnect with your sport..."ok,so why do I love doing this so much again?"Bottom...line each of us can benefit from a break now &t hen. I'm very much looking forward to doing some more cycling...especially come cx season.Fall here in upstate hands down is my favorite time of the year to be out there pedaling. So with that being said I hope everyone is having an excellent season...let's a promise to help each other keep the "stoke" and never forget how fun riding is!!!

Winter time blues??? Make a list!!!
While your frantically scrambling to finish up all of the summer wish lists items..Please don’t forget about winter. Yes I did say winter. Problem is with most folks they’re not even considering purchasing new equipment this time of the year.. So now what?
Trying making a list of the equipment you currently own. Then make another list of equipment you may be looking to purchase. This helps you get a better scope of the holes on your “quiver” . Based on your lists’ ask a few of your “guru” friends on their suggestions / recommendations of where you should be spending your hard earned cash.
Now once you have a fairly good idea of your equipment needs start looking now for those deals / close out etc. This time of the year your local ski / snowboard shop will gladly welcome your business!! Not only that... you'll be able to get the one on one customers service that your deserve. Not crowds, no lines…etc!! Sounds good to me!! Well good luck and happy shopping!!
