Snow sliding gear review...

Whoa! Holiday crunch time a go go ! Hope everyone has had sometime to play out in the snow here in Upstate.  I have recently took a brief break from cycling to enjoy my other passion...snowboarding!!  Rome Snowboards that has recently embarked into the snowboard boot segment. After taking this product for a BETA spin I believe they are well worth consideration for your next boot purchase.

Was lucky enough to get a chance to spend a few days putting a pair of the "Libertime Pureflex" boots through the motions. These boots utilize a rather interesting zone lacing system.  this system in definitely not like what you may be accustomed to with your traditional boot lacing set ups. Interestingly enough right out of the box the usually task of wrestling with my boot laces first thing was not the case! "PureFlex Quad lace system securely tightened my lower fore foot zone...then was very easy to dial in the inside and upper cuff support. On the snow, the over all flex of the boot was very compliant...it allowed plenty of brawn & support for the high speed all mountain efforts..yet surprisingly took on "gumby" like tweak ability in the park. This boot is also offered in a traditional lace up.If your a skeptic of trying new things...think again because the Rome think tank did their homework before launching this product. For me..going through two pairs of boots a season is not uncommon..This is a pair that I feel has definitely made the cut as a pair that I'd ride 247!!
Rome's Libertine Pureflex  is an unique product offer that may just answer that hard to find "solid fitting" snowboard boot product. Hope to see you out there!!!
